Coming from the Himalayas, more specifically from the Punjab region in Pakistan, this salt of volcanic origin was formed millions of years ago. Thanks to this, this salt has a characteristic egg-like taste and goes very well with everything, although it is recommended to season it over the finished dish to enhance its flavour. Thanks to this, it is very popular with vegans and egg intolerant people alike to imitate its flavour.
